The federal information worksheet is based on the entries you made in PERSONAL INFO- if you go through that section again, you should not get the error.

I have the same error trying to e-file the State return. It says the information should not be entered on the State form but only on the Fed information worksheet but it was the turbotax program that auto populated the State form.
The error claims the Name, SSN, Address should not be entered on the state form and should be on the Fed form. When I delete it from the State form, I then get the error that this information is required on the State form. When I re-enter the information I get the error that I shouldn't be on the State form.
March 29, 2020 2:06 PM Expert AlumniIf you are working in "Forms" mode try working in the "Step-by-Step" interview mode. Re-enter your personal information in the federal section and then select "State" and edit/continue that interview to allow the updates to populate the state return. This should clear the error.

Unfortunately I've not been able to resolve this issue. I'm quite frustrated with it
January 29, 2021 4:44 PM Expert Alumni@Celtaa The Federal Information Worksheet is prepared in TurboTax with the entries you make in the Personal Info or My Info section.
Go back to that section and make sure all entries are correct.
If you get errors trying to file your state return, don't make the entries in the State Information Worksheet , go back to Personal Info or My Info so your corrections go through to your State return.
Try these steps to resolve your State Errors so you can file your state return.

I've tried this about 10 plus times and it's still saying my husband's ssn is incorrect and needs to be fixed in order to efile. The information is correct in the personal info section and I can't seem to even change his info. I click "edit" next to his name and nothing happens. Just takes me back to the top of the page where my info is. His ssn is correct and even shows it correct on the arizona worksheet but it's still saying it needs to be fixed. I can't file until it's fixed yet there's noth nothing to fix. All info is correct.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the same issue and it's very frustrating.
February 21, 2021 1:17 PM Expert AlumniThe Federal Information Worksheet is generated by TurboTax from the entries that you make in the Personal Info or My Info sections down the left hand side of the screen.
Review that section of your tax return and make sure that the entries are correct.
The Federal Information Worksheet may be viewed under Tax Tools / Print Center / Print, save or preview this year's return . You may not be able to view it until you have paid for the software.

I couldn't find an answer to the problem, but I ended up just erasing his ssn off the arizona work sheet and it went through. Not sure why I was even given that error but it worked and my refund was approved.

When I tried to e-file, it took me to a page saying that I should not include my address on the Michigan Information Worksheet. that it would pull it from the federal. So I deleted the street portion of the address (all it would let me do); click continue; then it sends me back to the same place and says I need to provide an address.
I went in circles for a while trying to fix this - so I'm not sure if I can remember exactly what worked. But I think:
delete the item it wants deleted (for me it was street address); click continue; then, even though the fix button comes up again, click on My Info in the left column; delete all address info; continue; warning that you will need to enter this info - but can do it later; continue; file; fill in repeated prompts for address (because is missing from several places now that it was deleted in my info); successfully filed both federal and state (Michigan).
